There are no local Law or Regulations in
force in this Colony regarding the protection of Copyright. The Law governing the matter is that contained in the Impe-
rial Acts so far as they extend to the Colonies generally. By virtue of Section 9 of The International
Copyright Act 1886 (49 & 50 Vict.C 33) that Act and the In- ternational Copyright Acts (therein specified) apply to Hong-Kong as if it were part of the United Kingdom.
